15 March:  KEFLAVIK AIRPORT–  EYRARBAKKI - VATNSHOLT
Meet and greet at Keflavik airport. On our way to our accommodation in south Iceland we will pass the charming Eyrarbakki and Stokkseyri villages. We stay at GH Vatnsholt, a newly renovated country lodge in a beautiful setting above Lake Villingarholt with a perfect view of the Northern Lights (weather permitting)  


 16 March:  GOLDEN CIRCLE WITH A TWIST
- Singing soup -
Visit the hot spring area around the Great Geysir and mighty Gullfoss Waterfall. At lunch time we stop at Kjóastaðir farm and enjoy a typical
Icelandic meat soup in a barn while we listen to the host sing for us some Icelandic songs. On our way back to our accommodation we make a warm stop at a very remote and natural swimming pool.


17 March:  SKÓGAR - EYJAFJALLAJÖKULL— REYKJAVÍK  
- Earth & Water -
To the beautiful waterfall Seljalandsfoss, where one can walk behind the waterfall. From there we continue to the community Skógar to see the museum and the magnificent Skógarfoss waterfall. We drive through an area that was badly hit by the floods from the eruption at Eyjafjallajökull in the spring of 2010 but has been restored. Explore the Visitor´s centre at Þorvaldseyri farm and learn about how the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano affected the daily life in this area.  We travel to Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland and make a short city tour before we check in at GH Kríunes, which is located in the outskirt of town perfect for viewing the Northern Lights (weather permitting)

18 March:   TRANSFER TO KEFLAVIK AIRPORT
